Yeah, this is THE jacket. The "Raiders of the Lost Ark" Indiana Jones jacket the world fell in love with!
Coyle's Clothing has produced this awesome replica of the original "Raiders" jacket. Cut from specially tanned, soft lambskin leather, the jacket features two flight jacket style cargo pockets, side entry hand warmer pockets, single panel bi-swing back, side adjustment straps, side vents, inside chest pocket, and measurements and details taken from actual filming jackets. The leather is dark brown, with a finish that will break in naturally and quickly. This jacket is the product of 18 years of painstaking research to make it as much like the one you saw on the big screen as possible. I think it is without equal.
Make no mistake, these jackets are far from "costume" fare. They are department store quality, suitable for everyday use. Many of Coyle's jacket owners find that our jacket has quickly become their favorite!

Make sure to email in for exact measured sizes
Due to batch to batch variation the sizes on the web page for the jacket do not always match. I bought one and the length was 3 inches shorter than advertised. I had to send it back for exchange. At the time of writing this I had not gotten back the exchange and will write another review once the new one arrives.

Completely amazing in every way!
When I opened the box I was absolutely surprised at how well this jacket resembles Indy's! I completely loved it right out of the box! It is very well constructed and has beautiful leather! This is an incredibly nice jacket for an amazing price! Definitely recommend it to any Indy fan or a leather jacket lover!

My new everyday jacket!
I was looking around for a Indy jacket quite some time and finally landed here at Todd's. Seeing the price I was at first a bit skeptical... where I live, leather jackets cost much more. I dug through the reviews and searched the net for some more information... And finally ordered one. I was a bit anxious first, though. I'm 186 cm and have a slim build, so choosing a jacket size proved quite a challenge. Normally I wear XL for the comfort, but I ordered an L. Fits perfect! Very comfortable, I plan in wearing the jacket as much as possible :) Thanks, Todd!

Exceeded expectations
I really debated between this jacket and a custom-sized version from another company. In the end, based on previous good experiences with Todd's, and praise from other owners, I chose this one. I was not disappointed. Knowing that there is a lot of variation in the leather, I specifically asked for a jacket that wasn't too "grainy." Kristen picked out a jacket with beautiful leather. The craftsmanship of the jacket is solid -- I'd put it on par with any other leather jacket I've owned. What I was most concerned with was the fit. I have a hard time finding jackets with proper arm lengths that don't have me "swimming" in the body. Before placing my order, I e-mailed and Kristen promptly sent me back complete measurements. I'm happy to say, the jacket fits nearly perfectly in the body and the sleeve length is good. I could probably only get a better fit with a custom sized jacket at considerably more cost. My only concern -- nothing at all against Todd's -- is that as the jacket ages and wrinkles up a bit, the sleeves may ride up a little higher than I want. However, it appears there enough extra leather in the cuff that I can get the sleeves let out if it's a problem. I'm very pleased with this purchase!

My go to Jacket
I was worried that this jacket would just sit in my closet and only be used as part of a costume now and then, but I was wrong. I wear this jacket all the time. It is a great light jacket and is very well made. I love this jacket. Thanks Todd for bringing us great gear at even better prices!

really great piece for my wardrobe! great value!
so i'm approaching this review as both a general consumer for clothes and also as an indy fan. spoiler - fantastic on both counts and the buckles are NOT plastic! i've wanted an indy jacket for a while not just as a nod to henry jr but also cuz i thought it just looked like a really cool modified bomber. i have no interest in wearing it as a costume - just as a part of my day to day geek-wear. i found todd's through general googling having passed through wested and u.s. wings websites as well as forum postings. i have no vested interest in todd or his company (though i am a big fan now!) and am receiving no compensation for the review. todd promises department store quality and imo, he's underselling it. it's really (shockingly) well made! all the stitching looks great and i know people have mentioned the "buttery" leather but jeez if that isn't the right word. the jacket has a nice bit of heft to it (definitely not heavy but not insubstantial) and everything looks all around well put together. my biggest initial concern was FIT. i'm a bullseye medium (5'8", 150lb), buy medium t-shirts, medium jackets (if they're listed by s,m,l,etc) but measuring myself and then looking at the results on the measurement stats made me concerned about how things were going to come out (am i really a small? should i go large for the length?). well in my case, todd's advice (buy what you usually wear) was DEAD ON. i got a medium and it fits perfectly. not large but not skin tight... just right to wear with layers... just could not be happier about the fit and could not be better than if i had something tailor made. as a general consumer, i feel like i got jerry seinfeld's "perfect jacket" that just really puts it all together. now as an indy fan, i'm also super pleased. my biggest concern here was COLOR. i always thought his jacket looked strange - black in most circumstances but just a bit of color enough to tell you that though it looks black, it's probably brown. they nailed it! it really is a deep brown (i'm trying to refrain from using words like caramel and burnt butter etc)has that black/brown "iridescence" perfect. i was also concerned that the buckles on the side vents were plastic but they're definitely not. they're nicely slim in cross section and plastic would crack immediately. they're a really nice dull, dark metal and seem to be screen accurate (was looking at raiders over the weekend and there's never a gold or silver flash over the vents). as for the prosaic stuff, shipping was super fast (had it in a day!) and even when my paypal payment kinda got flubbed with my new ING bank account, they were able to square me away in 5 minutes. fantastic service as well as quality craftsmanship. anyway, thanks todd for a truly great piece of fashion really at a very nice price. you have a lifelong fan in me. i will recommend you without reservation and should years or an unexpected toss from a moving car claim the jacket, i will be back instantly to get another one! p.s. as someone who tried to read all 31 (as of now) reviews, the "next" button does not work (on chrome at least).

Really great jacket!
I just got Todd's newest jacket. This is my 8th Indy jacket I have owned, including 3 customs. This is hands down one of my very favorites. The construction is on par with more expensive jackets, but the look of the leather is where this excels. I am shocked at Todd's commitment to improve his products. First rate all around. I did email Todd that the pictures don't do the leather justice...it's fantastic!

Great replica of an iconic jacket!
Todd's Raiders jacket is the most accurate replica out there, bar none. It's very comfortable, lightweight, and buttery soft! though it will arrive with a tacky shine, those wishing to embrace the spirit of Indy will take some rubbing alcohol or nail polish remover and give is a once over, or twice. Also the use of Fuller's Earth will make the jacket look battle and adventure worn! The jacket I recieved had alot of grain in it, which adds alot of character and eliminates the need to soak it in water to break it in, its all there right out of the box! The leather is light lambskin as the original movie jackets used, and it is a bit stretchy, this however creates further grain as it forms to your body, but be careful, the leather isnt built for doing the stunts Indy did in the movie, that's why the costume dept. had dozens of jackets used in the movies, since after most stunts and fight scenes, the jacket would almost always have a large tear or rip....however as a costume, or as a casual travel jacket, the Todds Indy jacket is amazing!! well worth it!

Adventure Proven
I've had my Coyle's jacket for over almost 2 years now and have wore it almost continually in those two years. I have been almost everywhere in this jacket and it has held up extremely well!! The lambskin is softer now than it was the day I recieved it. It ages very well and looks almost identical to Indiana's jacket in Raiders by the time the movie is over. It is very well worth the money to buy one...it'll definately be adventure worthy for you as well!!
