Indiana Jones Jacket

I have owned many "Raiders" jackets in all price ranges. I wish I had gone with Todd's jacket first. The color and look of the jacket is really close to screen accurate. Look closely at the striations on the movie jacket and you will see how closely this jacket captures the look. It is a thin jacket which I think is a major positive as it lays well and feels just right. I can almost guarantee you will love this jacket. I like having stock sizes because with the incredible customer service, if you don't think it fits quite right, you can exchange it with no worries. I liked it so much, I bought two!

Todd has (once again) blown my mind with this jacket. My first Indy jacket was a 2012 Todd's Costumes jacket that I won on an online auction. Todd's 2013 version blow my old one out of the water. Better quality leather, and with one of the (if not the best) patterns for the Raiders jacket. Great jacket, great price indeed!

Todd has faithfully recreated the 'Raiders' Hero jacket for a reasonable price. The lambskin the jackets comes in is more shrunken than 'rib' striated, so I recommend requesting the jacket in as smooth a hide as possible to avoid a reptilian texture.

My companion says that this jacket is the best-fitting jacket that she has ever seen me wear, noting that it looks custom-fit. I am 5'8" and weigh 150 pounds; I ordered the medium size and it fits me extremely well. I love the soft, supple feel of the lambskin and appreciate the light weight. It is cold and damp now in Nebraska and I wear the jacket indoors like a sports jacket. After so many years of searching for THE JACKET and being disappointed with my purchases, I have finally found the perfect copy. I would enjoy this jacket and wear it frequently, even without the Indiana Jones legacy. It is a GREAT buy for the money, feeling like a more expensive jacket. I guess the best way to say how I feel about this jacket is that I plan on always owning and wearing one the rest of my life, no matter how many I end up buying as they wear out.

Todd obviously put lots of research into recreating 'The' Raiders jacket on this one. As with most of Todd's items, the quality and price point of this is exceptional. The color, hardware details, design, and drape of the jacket are screen accurate. The lambskin specification copies the original, and some critics will lament the thinness and weight. Lamb was chosen for the original movie jacket for a variety of on-location climates. For the look, weight, and feel of the original Raiders jacket, Todd's is an exceptional choice and value. This jacket is well suited to non-costuming daily wear. The caveat is that this is a waist-length Fall/Spring weight jacket.

It's warm, it looks just like the movie, and it's my new favorite jacket for daily wear. The zipper being on the left flap of the coat throws me a bit, as it is opposite of most mens' jackets, but that's exactly what's in the movies so kudos to Coyle's & Todd's for paying attention to the details.

Looks fantastic, is extremely comfortable, durable, authentic. This is not just a costume- this is a great leather jacket worth buying on its own.

The jacket is nice looking and feels good. The problem was that it was shorter than the sizing guide suggested. Sizing said it was 23", but it was closer to 21" which was dissapointing. I will keep it though as sending back would cost too much. The jacket looked too short visually without me having to actually wear it, didnt look quite right. But if you can get the sizing right, you have a great jacket.

I recently purchased "THE jacket," and though I've yet to wear it on a regular basis (which is my intent), I love it. The feel of the leather, color, stitching and styling are great. The only thing I wish is that the large was a little smaller. I even ordered a medium to compare. Though I paid for the extra shipping and restocking fee, I wanted to make sure it was right. The medium was quite a bit smaller, so I stuck with the large. I'm guessing the variations in batches has something to do with it. I'll be wearing it in cooler weather with sweaters, so it's all good. And for the price, I really can't complain.
