Coyle's Indiana Jones Style Shirt

I ordered the shirt shortly before the new batch came in the other month and received it very promptly. The fit out of the bag was pretty perfect in the shoulders and chest, but too tight in the wrists and collar. The wrists could barely be closed and the collar was a lost cause. I washed it on cold wash and in a gentle cycle and the shirt shrunk dramatically. It was now way too small and I could barely button it down the front, forget the wrist or collar. I was shocked how much it shrunk. In addition, the stitching along the shoulder where the sleeve attaches came loose, I believe on the right shoulder. I spoke to Sue on the phone and she was very courteous and helped return the shirt for an exchange in a larger size. Polite and hassle-free. Truly exemplary customer service. The second shirt had all the same problems, the shrinkage and the loose sleeve. Being a size bigger, though, it was still wearable after it shrank. The wrists and collar are still too tight, though, even on one size larger. It really seems like those measurements are just far too small and need to improve on future revisions. I repaired the loose sleeve, however, and the shirt's been great apart from the initial problems. The styling is very accurate to the screen-used shirt (we can debate the color, but…) and the material is very thick and substantial without feeling too warm. It's worth owning for sure, just be aware you'll likely need to take it to a seamstress to repair the sleeve (two of them coming loose in a gentle cycle can't be coincidence), and order a size larger.

I usually wear size S slim fit, and ordered a M just to be sure I wasn't trapped in it. Highly recommended that everyone order one size up. Cold wash and tumble dry NO HEAT. Use vinegar in rinse cycle and fabric softener and the shirt will lose some of it's stiffness. It was pretty stiff right out of the box, and hanging dry only made it retain stiffness. Great shirt!

Just à problem for the delivery. We have no information, after the delivery from Usps to french post. We have to wait after, and we don't no where is our order. All is ok, when we know thèse detail.

Love the way it takes on character with a COLD wash and line dry. Color is spot on for my minds eye view on Indy's shirt. Need to be careful on washing as there's the shrinkage issue, go up one size and you'll be happy you did.

If you want the most screen authentic Indiana Jones shirt, then this is the one to buy. The design, texture and colour are perfect. It is well made and extremely comfortable to wear. Thank you Todd's Costumes, I now have the ultimate iconic Indy look every time I wear the shirt.

I have purchased several Indy shirts from Todd's over the years. For those of you that have done the same can attest to the quality of the shirts. They are definitely not cheap shirts that fall apart after a few uses and washings. This new batch of shirts are of a thicker material than the shirts from 2010 and 2011 (I have 3), and are hand-over-fist better than the ones from 2013 (I have 1). The quality of the stitching is good and the style is spot on to the movie. The buttons lean towards TOD and LC rather than ROTLA. The only problem I had was that after washing in cold water and hanging it up to dry, the sleeves shrunk. I normally wear a L and I had to exchange the shirt for an XL. Todd's staff is top-notch. Sue is great and helped me with the exchange. I now have another shirt that fits good. Make sure that you ALWAYS wash these shirts in cold water and hang them up to dry. I've found that to get rid of the stiffness that line drying can cause, put it in the dryer on "Air Only" cycle (NO HEAT). It'll be soft and your sleeves won't make you look like Herman Munster!

Todd was right in saying they got this design right down to the stitch. Excellent color and feels great as an adventure shirt, and very true to the on-screen appearance. The sizing suggestions worked great for me based on my neck and chest size. I cannot wait to finally put together my entire Indy outfit. The Downtowner Fedora I have is very true to the on-screen look, and the color is perfect. With a lot of dust and sand, it would easily acquire that "streets of Cairo" look, but I am keeping it nice for the moment - at least until my next adventure. Keeep up the great work Todd!!

TODDS just keeps getting better with each generation. The new material on the Raiders shirt is a good, sturdy cotton that you can wear with or without the Indiana Jones costume. I purchased a 2nd one so I can wear it more often. The color is the best yet to my opinion of the original. The buttons are not dead on...showing a little of a pearlescent glint. The fit seems true to the last run and my Large fits my usual 16. 32/33 shirt size just right. And the price is right, too.

Quite happy with my new Indy shirt. Cotton fabric is heavier duty than I was expecting. Stitching etc seems to be well executed and it even looks, from the tag anyway, to be made in USA which is always nice. We'll see how it holds up to some rigorous wearing but if its as well made as my Indy bag from Todd's (which has been through numerous camping trips and even a trip through the mountains of Haiti) then I don't expect any problems at all. Feels like it'll be a real everyday wearer and not a 'costume'. Again, very nice shirt.
